Tailgating Tips from the Rose Bowl

4 December 2009 No Comment

Nice video from the Rose Bowl. The big tips for beginners- show up early (some as early as 5am).  It also has a couple of good recipes for marinades and grilling tips.

My personal favorite from this video: the use of a taco grill.  This is a nice touch if you’ll be serving up a lot of Tex-Mex at your tailgate events.  The guy being interviewed uses the grill for chorizo and egg breakfast burritos, carne asada, fried chicken, and fried fish.  The host raves about the marinade, made from Sunny Delight, seasoning salt, onions, cilantro, and fresh orange slices.  Sounds a little odd but I’m looking forward to trying this one out.

Worth watching if you are interested in grilling up some tri-tip or carne asada at your next tailgate
