Margaritaville Tailgating Grill

3 January 2010 No Comment

The Margaritaville G1000 Ride-Behind Propane Grill is a fantastic portable grill built for tailgating excellence. It mounts directly to the hitch of your car or truck. With 352 square inches of cooking surface, you get plenty of space for burgers or your tailgating specialty. The 20,000 BTU burner starts up easily and heats up quickly.

The Margaritaville Grill includes foldout side tables and a fold-down condiment tray.  This is a very well-designed grill that was built for tailgating.

Margaritaville Grill Accessories

Since the Margaritaville Grill doesn’t include a propane tank hose, you’ll want to pick up the stainless steel propane hose adapter. Freedom also offers a custom grill cover to protect your tailgate grill from the elements. The deluxe grill cover clips securely to the Freedom Grill and is a smart investment for this high-quality grill.

The Margaritaville Grill accepts either a small propane cylinder or a 20 pound propane tank.  If you plan to do a lot of tailgating with this grill (and you should!), the larger tank might be a wise move.

Customizing Your Margaritaville Grill

Some fans opt to customize the Margaritaville Tailgating Grill with team colors and logo. If you are interested in pimping out your Margaritaville Ride-Behind Grill, check out this video from TailgatingIdeas.com. Dave does an awesome job of customizing his Margaritaville Grill to Chargers blue and gold and provides step-by-step instructions.

Overall, this is a highly-rated grill that will get a lot of attention from fellow tailgaters. The hitch mount is a very cool idea that frees up a lot of space for a bigger cooler full of beer.
