Grilling Corn on the Cob

19 January 2010 No Comment

Grilling corn on the cob is very simple and a delicious, healthy choice if done right.  It is easy to eat while standing around, making it a good tailgating food.  Like most tailgate grill choices, most of the prep can be done at home before heading out.

Here is a helpful 2-minute video on grilling corn on the cob.

As you can see, the grillmaster here simply washes the corn, butters it up, seasons each ear with salt and pepper, and wraps in foil.  After 10 minutes on the grill you should hear a sizzle and flip the corn.

Keeping the corn wrapped in foil after removing from the grill allows you to keep it warm while getting additional meats grilled up.

I’ve always found corn on the cob to be a popular choice – tastes great, easy to cook with a tailgating grill, and easy to eat.
